Pics of Platinum Bronze - Getting Dirty!
Literally the day after we took delivery of our new X5, we packed up and went cross country skiing. The car performed fantastic in the "Washington outback" -- however it was a tough to see it get so dirty (inside and outside) when its so new! We are lovin' the platinum bronze (we almost ordered the space grey) - this color is a bit more unique and it's very good at hiding dirt...
A pretty dirty spankin' new X5 http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h3...o_sparky/1.jpg Another one: http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h3...o_sparky/2.jpg uh-oh http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h3...o_sparky/3.jpg Primitave Roads... http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h3...o_sparky/4.jpg More Primitive Roads! http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h3...o_sparky/5.jpg Great mountain road twisties - lots of fun here: http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h3...o_sparky/6.jpg |
Your cheeks must hurt from grinning so much.
Congrats and enjoy |
Your X still looks great dirty! One of the reasons I picked this color as well.

looks like fun! what area is that?
|
The X looks good with mud on it, lol. I am also wondering the location. Too bad out here in Central KY it's all flat.

Plain, Washington
This is in Plain, Washington - it's a tiny town in the Cascade Mountains. Lots of great downhill and cross country skiing. You can't imagine how much fun we had with the X -- I'm so glad we had that and not the Volvo!
I'll tell you - on some of those mountain twisties, the X5 performed almost as well as our 330 would have! This is an amazing vehicle! |
damn, more miles than me already. ;)
|
glad you're having fun....
the only "off-road" adventure we see is the frickin pot holes all over the city.:banghead: |
