Wheels are maybe one thing, but then changing the grills and front mesh is a little too much "pretending". I know a lot of Germans debadge their BMWS and Benzes, especially when they have a big engine, as not to be braggy. So if you debadge for the cleanliness, I totally get that. It's just by adding 4.8i specific major items, seems odd. Sorry, just my opinion. .

Not so cool. Who cares if the mods are "4.8 specific" if there is such a thing. He likes the looks of the titanium mesh and grill with the OEM 20's. To be honest, I love what he did to the car and I'm now really thinking of getting the 20"s also. Most mods are because of people's personal preference, not so much for pretending. Heck, I've seen people with black 4.8 E70 and replaced the titanium grill and mesh with black. Does that mean they're pretending to be a 3.0?
Yes, we are all entitled to our opinion but sometimes we have to make some sense out of it.
