Same here... loving every single mile.

Had mine since late November, 5K miles. Getting ready to add 4K more on a two week driving tour of the Southwest (OK, TX, NM, AZ, CO, KS.) Should be a good test for my active ventilated seats! (and everything else.)

So far it's been great. Really fun to drive, may be the best car I have ever owned.

15k miles and still happy with the X.
I have never purchased/leased the same car in succession... this might be the one, especially if the 4.4TT ends up in the 09MY.

After nearly 5 months, I couldn't be happier with my 4.8i.

It has exceeded expectations. I REALLY enjoy driving it.

same here.. still loving every minute of it... the 3.0 engine is very responsive and has more than enough pickup for me..especially in manual mode... very fun to drive...

just hit 2k miles.. not much driving in four months of ownership but i'm working on it...

only gripe is a small switch that needed to be replaced during the first week... and yesterday.. a small glitch that went away on its own..(the auto tailgate did nothing when i hit the close button.. noticed the lit button got very hot while letting the engine idle for awhile as i dried her after a wash... had to shut her off for a few minutes to cool off and then the problem went away...

pretty strange... but other than that i'm truly happy and looking forward to driving her each day..

I'm bored with my 750i, it's too much work to drive. Doesn't make power the way I'd like it to even though it has a huge engine..

I can't wait to get back into an X.

My previous X5 was an E53 4.8. Prior to that I had a 4.6 and my first X5 was a 4.4. Each of the E53s was better than the prior model with the E53 4.8 being heads and shoulders better. Overall the E70 is again a signifiant improvement over all of the E53s except for power. Because of the added weight, slightly reduced horsepower, and the lack of spirited tunng from the "M" division the E70's performance is not as good. I drive a lot on two lane back roads and the reduced quick response capability to pass slower vehicles is a drawback. I'm hopeful that the E70 X5 will be offered with the new 4.4 Turbo as it will better meet my needs. Other than that it's a great vehicle (except for the backup camera at night, what an embarassment).
