Hello all,
Just wanted to say hey, just picked up my first BMW ever, never pictured myself in one. I've been driving SUVs this whole decade, went from a 00' Navigator to 02' Escalade to 05' H2 and now an 08' X5 4.8 very happy with my choice . I told my self I would keep it stock not even 2 weeks from getting it I picked up some replica style 214 wheels, I'm debating on the fender flares(FYI=TPMS fits the replica wheels). Now I'm looking into lowering springs and exhaust(modding=does it ever end). Does anyone have a pic of a Space Gray X5 with the grey mesh grills, might be another mod I'm looking into.

Hi and welcome... are those Vredestein tires (judging from the tread)? How do you like them?

Where'd you get the replica 214s from? I got mine from Wheels and Caps and found out one of them were "out-of-round" and need to exchange one, unfortunately.

Sorry I can't help with gray mesh with space gray (I have gray on white).

The tires are Vredestein, honestly I had never heard of them before so I looked around and the C5 Z06 guys really liked them, I talked to a couple of local guys and they said they were great. My X5 doesn't perform like a Corvette (I gonna try them on my Z32TT)so I went for it. I thought it would ride harder going from 18s to 20s but it's about the same as the 18" RFt's, overall I'm happy with them plus I got a good deal.

I got them from Ebay (wheel and Tire deal) I order an extra set of TPMS sensors and had them install them. Using the 18s with all season for ski trips.

Do you have the link from ebay who you bought it from? What is the finish of the rims? Polish or silver like eactly the OEM? I personally like the plain siliver finish if I am going to get the replica.

The center spoke is polished the rest is painted silver.
