Need to remove wax residue from moulding on doors
I just picked up my new X5 and I noticed that there is some wax residue on the door mouldings. What is the best way to reove this? Thanks

professional exterior detailer or..
Good old plastic eraser (architect erasers work really well too). Give it a good rub. Worked for me. |
This is what i use for just this kind of thing. I works great at removing the residue and dressing up the molding and on the OUTSIDE of the vehicle.

You can use 50/50 mix of Isopropyl Alcohol and water(distilled preferred but not necessary) or use Acryl-Safe cleaner/solvent you can buy this at an auto parts store. Make sure it's safe for plastic/rubber etc don't use prep-sol on rubber. Alternatively, try smooth peanut butter or Avon Skin So Soft. I have even used WD-40 on a rag.
