Cut the deal today!

Ordered my X5 today. Here are the details:

4.8i; Space gray; beige

Heated
Premium
Sport
20's
Tech
SAT
Comfort
Reart

MSRP $67,370
"Selling" $62,600 which is $500 over invoiced cost including the $180 training fee. There was also a $625 bank fee that gets added to the cap cost that they wouldn't move on which is why I negotiated harder for the $500 over invoice. I also had an issue with the $180 training fee but I caved on that as it was on the invoice.

36mos, 10K miles/year
$899/mo with $1400 out of pocket.
0.00225 money factor
61% residual.

I think I did OK but as you know, you always feel like you left $ on the table with these dealers.

Now the wait begins!

Nice deal! Let me know what your build week is (when you find out). I just placed an order for a new 4.8 also a couple days ago. They are telling me that I won't have a more definite build date until the 28th. According to my dealer it was going to be early June. But the BMW rep said it should be May. My deal wasn't as good as yours, but it was the best I could do around my area.

Nice deal! The only thing - why 10K / year ??? This car begs to be driven, BIG TIME... I also thought I would not need more than 12K/year (based on the past driving and shorter driving commute to work), but I actually take any opportunity to go places, and already have 5300 miles on it (just over 4 months - over by 1000 miles)...

My new commute is only 3.5 miles each way to work. Down from 18 miles each way about 6 months ago. I had 15K/yr on my MBZ and I figure I'm saving 6700 miles per year just in commuting so I was comfortable ratcheting down to 10K. We'll see how it goes.

That is a very good deal! Can you really negotiate your monthly payment the moment you order your x5? Is that going to be the same after 2 months when you pick up your X5?

PUZZ 04-24-2008 10:14 PM

It won't be any worse. If the residual's and MF's change for the better than I will be able to take advantage of it.
