Side Mirror wind noise
 

I have been to the dealer twice with complaints of wind noise at around 45mph - 50 mph. First try they couldn't identify, second try they said it was from a bent bracket from sunroof area. Didn't change things.

I have now discovered the it seems to be coming from between the auto and driver side mirror as the wind travels through the gap over the arm. If I put my hand there while driving the whistling stops.

Has anyone else had this issue? The mirror looks as if it is mounted properly but I cannot believe that this is normal noise.

is it a whistle or just louder air passing?

It is a whistle. It starts at around 45 mph and goes away at around 52-55 mph. It is annoying as hell because about 10 minutes of my commute every morning is at 45.
