Performances after ECU modification by HARTGE
 
Here are the results of the timed tries made with my X5 D prepared by HARTGE.

Here are the conditions of the test:
- Outside temperature: 18°C
- No wind
- 2 persons on board of 72 and 70 kg
- Reservoir filled in 25 %


Measures realized 4 times and average then calculated

Top speed: 232 km/h (144 mph)
0-1000m (0-0,62 miles): 28,31 seconds
0-100km/h (0 - 62,14 mph): 7,51 seconds
0-140km/h (0 - 86,99 mph): : 13,95 seconds
0-160km/h (0 - 99,42 mph): : 20,02 seconds
60-90 km/h (37,28 - 55,92 mph): : 4,58 seconds
90-120 km/h (55,92 - 74,56 mph): 5,50 seconds

i'm wordering if this one works on E70 sd as well...

i actually thought you would get more significant results..

half second improvement on launches... but slightly slower response when passing another vehicle on the highway..

50/50 split...

not what i'd like to accomplish...

You are supposed to be comparing column 1 and 3. Column 2 is to show you the sd performance. Summary is that the chipped d is faster than a stock sd.

you mean "stock d" not "stock sd" right... and wat if we have the s version:dunno: have you thought about that one big guy:yikes::p

I thought he meant stock sd, seeing that some of the more important numbers in red are in the hargte 3.0d column are higher than the stock sd column

I think the improvment is quite significant. Shaving off over 1 sec in the 0-60 time is good.
Except, I thought the sd did 0-60 in 7secs???
