Cost of new X5 3.0

How much does a new X5 3.0 cost? I called the closest dealer and was told about $1,000 CDN a month. Then I think I heard others say it was cheaper.

C'mon, I wouldn't think they are flying out the door, even up in the GWN...
As suggested here often, send an email to the internet/sales mgr
at stlrs in your "area", reviewing your car preferences/options and
ask them what they have in stock and their best price. Then, work
downward from the quote(s) they toss you.

Calling up a stlr and "asking how much" is not going to lead to good
or real selling price, imo...you sound to them like every tire kicker
that waddles in.

If you're interested in how much it costs per month, let me tell you how you can buy a brand spanking new, fully loaded X5 4.8 for only $1 per month. Put about $75,000 down.

Seriously, never negotiate a price per month. There are way too many variables. Buy, lease, good/bad credit, finance rate, $ down, mileage on a lease, etc. Asking how much a car costs per month opens you up to those shady dealers with horrendous 84 month loans at 10% financing. Makes you sound like you either a) don't really have the money or b) don't really want to buy the car.

We talked, it wasn't a simple phone call :)

Plus, seeing how they are 8 hours away from in and in another province, im not about to leep on over just to find out a price.

What MD said.

Is this your first time buying a car? ;)
Don't fall for the "how much do you want to pay per month" - like the other poster said with enough down you can geta new loaded X5 for $1/month.

First you need to know what car/options you want, MSRP vs. dealer invoice, lease terms etc. There are good lease calculators on bimmerfest.

And lastly never, never, never put a money down on a lease - "cap. cost reduction" means the same thing as money down.\\Good luck

I'm just guessing but i would best there's a sticker price in Canada just like everywhere else. (To the dealer that's what it cost) In reality though everyone has to make their own deal. Some people contact dealers (fleet managers) via the internet and generate deals that way.
