So whats wrong with it. I mean they make limos out of all cars and if you need a limo, why not a x5? would you rather a limo escalade?

I'd rather a limo be a limo. Not an escalade, not an X5 and PLEASE NOT a Hummer.

I reserved a car for Friday night and stressed that they please not send anything obnoxious.

I was thinking the same thing--how could they have just used a 3.0 for this?

In the UK that is the tackiest thing you can do. Most people have something much more elegant like a Rolls. I hired a 1926 Rolls when I got married.

Interesting, I think everyone does the limo here. It's not even to show off as it's pretty common. A rolls would be more showing off.
