Difference between DS and Sport Button?

I read the above discussion on DS but it doesn't explain the difference between DS and Sport button.

Also, can you drive in DS with Sport button engaged at the same time?

The sport button is for the adaptive drive suspension and the DS is for the control of the gearbox. they are unrelated and can be used at the same time.

DS - you can feel a difference in power/RPM manageent
Sport button - you can hardly, if at all, feel a difference in adaptive suspension system.

I thought Sport button does what DS does, along with firming up the suspension.

And I thought DS was just some kind of clutchless manual mode.

The DS is a clutchless manual mode. But it only goes into this mode after you start shifting the gears.

When you initially move the shifter to the left, it goes into a fully automatic DS mode. The clutchless manual part of DS doesn't start until after you move the shifter up/down to control the gears.
