Advice needed on door panel vibration
Hi guys,
I wonder if anyone has the same problem. 3 of my 4 doors has problem of vibrating door panel. Every time I run over unperfect road surface, the noice is so embrassing. The noice is not from the panel itself but from the gap between steel door and the panel. The dealer has applied the 3M tape but doesn't work. Can anyone provide me suggestion? Appreciate for your help. |
I had some squeaking issues with the rear hatch door plastic covers. The dealer put felt tape on the underside of the plastic to prevent the plastic from "squeaking" against the metal hatch (lower hatch piece). Perhaps you could try this. If it is a vibrating issue and the panel is loose you may need to replace the panel and the plastic clips that hold the panel into the door.

Thank you, Denalio.
I saw how they remove my back door panel. They were not familiar with the structure and procedure. So, I am afraid that things will get worse if they can't restore the panels properly. What I am doing now is to insert some cloths in the gap. It works a little, but can't eliminate all noise. Thank you very much again. |
