Finally Ordered!
Thanks guys for all the great info I learned from this site before ordering. Production should be completed today. Anyone have an idea from their own experience, how long it will take to reach my dealer in New Jersey? Here are my options. Thanks!

Long time reader, first time poster. I have the same question! I was told my 4.8i would be in production the 24th week, which I believe was two weeks ago. Any guesses how much longer before it arrives at my dealer here in Toronto? My CA said he would have an update by the 26th week, but the suspense is just about killing me! By the way, here's what I ordered: 4.8i Black Sapphire Saddle Burl Walnut Sport Pkg 20" wheels Comfort seats Premium sound Can't wait! And nice to finally be a member of the X5 love fest. :) |

grats to both. if you have the VIN you can join the BMW club via website and track your new toy there. or just do what i do and make unscheduled stops at your dealer and have them check the computer for you :)

My first post - Ordered the x5 3.0d, but mine will take 3 months atleast as I am all the way out in South Africa... I am waiting for my order number still as its apparently ordered locally, then Germany gives the order to the States and then its shipped here when built... Long way round |
