Front Speakers suddenly out?

Has anyone experienced the front two speakers suddenly stop working? I can only hear my music from the back seat...

no, i haven't experienced anything like that. do you have the premium sound package? Maybe it's an iDrive malfunction. are you able to change the sound fade setting (front to back output) from the iDrive menu??

yes I have that package.

I can change the fader but even if I move it front, it is still not making any sound

in the e53 it's very common for the front(dashboard) speakers to go out, and early in the cars life.
