Driver side mirror

I am just wondering if this is "by design", or some weird design bug.... When I unlock my car with the remote, I find that the driver side mirror would be tilted downwards or outwards. Not always, just sometimes.

Returning the mirror to the correct position, and then "memorizing" the setting, does not always help.

Anyone else is seeing the same problem ?

no....

do you use the same key each time? You can set the car up so as the settings for each key automatically adjust on opening the car. If your settings are not the same on each key then the mirrors will adjust along with the seat positions.

Maybe it's a gremlin. I don't have any issues with my mirrors but some mornings my seat position isn't right. Can't figure it :dunno:

see my point re keys above - make sure you use the same key each time.

i drive has a setting for "last seat position"when unlocked you may wanna try that

alexmish 07-15-2008 11:01 PM

1 - same key
2 - iDrive has bee set to "last seat position"

Again, it is random - approx once out of ten times...

Must be a gremlin!
