Apple iPhone 2.0 software issues

Anyone having address book syncing issues using the new Apple iPhone 2.0 software update?

From reading other forums it appears only some people are having a problem.

If its working what is your BMW firmware version?

Have you tried it or are you just speculating that it wont work???

It syncs perfectly on my X5. 3G v2.0

I don't have an iphone but am considering getting a 3G. I'm glad yours works but other people have had problems from reading other forums.

No problems with synching the address book in my 2008 X5 E70 with my iPhone 3G.

Have no idea what the BMW firmware version is. If you tell me where to find it, I'll tell you.

No problem here - iPhone 3G

Only difference between the 2G and 3G (2.0) is that the address book is listed last name first now.

Do you have an X5?

Works fine... I have an "original" iPhone with the 2.0 software, and everything synced right up with my e70. No issues at all.

address book works fine for me on iPhone 3G... HOWEVER, there is now an echo of my own voice which sounds terrible. it seems to be a common problem. it helps if you turn the phone volume up all the way and then adjust the car volume appropriately... but it's still there. anyone else notice this?

I dont have an echo, mine sounds great.

FYI- when connected via bluetooth, the iphone volume becomes BLUETOOTH VOLUME, so it should be at the highest level (be sure to adjust this while in a call, then it will stick.

Same goes for X5, the stereo volume becomes phone volume during the call, so adjust it to desired level.

Will not synchronize with my 3G iPhone

I had no trouble with my Blackberry, but nothing happens with the iPhone - it just stalls. I have an early 2007 build (no USB) X5. My iPhone is running 2.0.2 I will see if the 2.1 release fixes the issue. If not I may need a new TCU (about $500)
