Babying the engine is the worst thing you could do for proper ring seal. Just drive it normally. Avoid highway driving.

Please don't take this the wrong way but
I would like to know what your manual
say's about the "break" in period?

Perhaps you have looked this up but
if not go and find your manual and please
look it up and tell us what it say's

Yeah, I read the manual on the break-in period.
But my logic was, if I take it one step further, then it must be better!! But now I'm regretting it after spending so much gas... well live and learn...
