Picked up my '08 4.8i on Saturday...here are a few pics of my outgoing 4.4i as I took delivery. Now I just need new wheels, wheel arches, running boards, and the aero kit, and I'll be set.

congrats - how anyone thinks the E53 bodystyle is better looking than the E70 is beyond me.

The E53 (4.6is/4.8is) looks way more aggressive.....and has a much nicer looking azz :wow: ..........Phil

Enjoy it. I'm holding on to my 4.4i until the Turbo X5 comes along. You doing 20s or 21s on the wheels?

I think the E70 with the aero kit, wheel arches, and 20" wheels looks just as aggressive as the 4.8is. The front is very modern and at least as aggressive-looking if not more than the E53.

The one styling element that I don't like on the E70 that can't be fixed is the rear portion of the front fender which doesn't have enough definition, so it loses a bit of aggressiveness vs. the E53. Maybe this will look better with a vent on future models.

The E70 azz is a more modern version of the E53 and with the black plastic painted or with the aero kit looks as good. It will be interesting to see what they do on the upcoming V8TT or M version.
