Anyone painted his the black Bumper on their E70

i ment the black parts of the bumper.
even the sensors anyone out there

Yep I did and the fender flares v happy will post some photos when the weather gets better!

looking forward to seeing the pictures its seems a great idea to paint them.

Silver painted looks pretty good. White does not imo.

looks very nice in silver,, i think ill be paint the side steppers as well insted of black lets see how that will go. ill post picture as soon as i get it.

Cost me about €1,500.00

it cost 300 kd which is about 780 Euro for the paint job the kit is the standerd Aero kit which is about 450 KD about 1,180 Euro these are the prices in Kuwait.

yep, i had the entire car colour coded including the running boards, wing mirrors and grill. ill post some pics a little later. its definetly worth doing, the plastic just doesnt look right.

Easy answer. Buy a black x5 and you dont need to do it!!!

dark colors looks good, but white looks like an ambulance.

I agree with buying black and bypassing this paint issue. I had my apace grey E70 bumpers, aero kit and fender flares painted sometime last year (October '07, search my older posts for pictures) and like the ones here the fender flares and rear bumper come out slightly a different color due to different material or for whatever reason. Although I'm happy with it, a $60k+ car shouldnt have to deal with this or have this slight nonmatching paint.

you can see it here :) I used to have some mods from Hamann on my both 6 series's which I sold. Yes, the grill products ?? I asked once for my 645 they told me it will cost aroound 5K with out shipping.

I ve been looking around but cant find a black x5 with sports package and aerokit with painted plastic ? bumpers, fenders etc. Does anyone have and maybe could post some pics???

That black one looks sweet. I'm perfectly happy with my bumpers the way they are, but for some reason those pictures make me wish I had Jet Black instead of Black Sapphire...

I mean its black... there shouldn't be such a big difference... or ...:D
