it is the worst camera i'v seen in a car, especially at night !! also in my cousin's x6 and my friend's 760Li !!! cant bmw just install better cameras !:dunno:

your right BMW has the worst camera, Toyota has the best ones out there in the market

the new lexus and merceds cameras are better 100 times ! have anyone saw the 4 zone camera on the new infiniti ex ?

no i dint think so . im using the pdc screen only with out the camera view. thnx ucan :)

you guys sure its the camera? i'm thinking it's the lighting around the field of view. no light means no view as camara's are passive devices that record light coming in to the lens rather than going out. As far as i know its not having enough light around. Maybe other manufacturer's cameras are more sensitive to light(i dunno) or they just have brighter taillights or have them closer to the camera to light up the way better.

Yeah the BMW rear view camera is disgusting. I've personally seen and used cameras on a 2006 & 2007 Lexus and on 2 2008 Benzes...they were crystal clear & amazingly sharp. At night they were actually still quite good. On the BMW, at night it is 100% useless!! Embarassing!
