can you control the rear DVD through the idrive

we are out of town and forget to bring the manual. Can you activate the rear DVD through the idrive. Thanks

Just to clarify.

You need to use the idrive to activate the RES. There's an option to activate it, similar to activating the rear air.

You cannot use the idrive to control the RES, as in play, forward, skip a track etc.
