^ I do this all the time now and it's fine. How many miles are on your X after a month? Give it at least 1k miles or so. And make sure you're not in DS mode... it won't coast very well in DS / manual. ;)

also it matters how fast you remove your foot from the pedal, if you take your foot off instantly the car will most likely downshift because it thinks you need to slow faster than you actually do
