Anyone here with a black X5, with silver Aerokit? Interesting to see how would look!
I know there was a fellow member here @ forum that had seen one...
anyone? picpics!  |
I thought 2-tone color cars went out in the 80's.

I thought you replied to my earlier thread and saw the pics, if not here are my photochop efforts again  I think we do need a real life effort to see how it would look in real life but I do think it will look way cool, because the aero kit doesn't stand out on the Blacks, and it matches the running boards as well

The aero kit looks really good on the E70. But I wouldn't consider the silver aero kit on a black car. http://web.stardock.net/images/accou...02736/icon.jpg |

hmm, lots of silver things to match to the supposedly silver aerokit...
:D :dunno: now this is where we need some major photoshop skillzzzz:bustingup (pics of my black x5 @ dealers, have not reveaved it yet!):D :D |
I vote no unless you can get a custom job done to mimic a carbon fiber appeal with more black then silver (alloy).
Coming from an E53, I traded my 08 GS 350 for 08 X5 and one of my dislikes for the GS was the amount of silver on the body that did not blend with the overall look of the car. Albeit - It could work if you painted the plastic trim around the entire body the same color of your car then slapped on a carbon fiber or silver aero kit... BTW - CONGRATS on your new purchase! |
