you think these are better than the Weather Tech ones? Also, nice keychains here.. wich one do you guys have? http://www.bmw-online.com/BMWRA_prod...=100&submit=Go |
I just got the rubber mats and I find them to be great though they are a bit expensive for a molded sheet of rubber. They do fit snugly and look good as well.
I am planning on getting a leather key chain, because I fear that the metallic ones will scratch the Aluminum trim piece right under the key insert. Might not matter if you have comfort access. |

nice, could you snap any pics of the leather mats in front and in the rear seats? is it 1 whole mat in the rear or is it a 2 piece thing...? thanx:thumbup: |

I was going to get these floormats but was advised not to because the carpet area gets really dirty and is tough to clean. I ended up with these:

These are the ones I got, there are two separate mats for the rear seats and haven't gotten the 3rd row ones yet as they were not in stock. They look pretty good and go over the carpet. I also have the carpet ones which I got as a freebie from the dealer, but don't want to use them in rainy weather.

I put in the all weather mats for the 1st & 2nd row. They are thicker and made of softer rubber than the all weather liners.
I decided on the mats in the 1st row to match the liner in the cargo area, plus they don't cover up the pedal covers and footrest. If that wasn't a concern for me, I probably would have just gone with the liners instead for better protection. Then again, I'm in sunny California where the weather is mostly great. I ended up getting the all weather liners for the 2nd row to cover up the middle hump that the "2 piece all weather 2nd row mats" leave unprotected. Since the liner is pretty thin, I simply placed it on top of the mats. I should try them one of these day without the mats underneath to see how they feel. I'm sure they are okay. Thin isn't necessarily a bad thing. Both work great. |
I have the same mats and they are great, made some where in eastern europe, sold by BMW GB on UK market. Easy to wash, only thing is the bit of carpet in the heal area on the drivers side, takes an age to dry when you have had the hose on it. But defenetly worth having for evey day use.

I had the ones with the carpet and switched to the ones stockguru has in his post. Much better and fit like a glove. Made by WeatherTech in the US. Got the matching front, rear, and cargo area mats. The others were made in Slovakia or Slovenia or somewhere in Eastern Europe and the fabric disks on the bottom that grab the disks on the floor fell off in a couple of months. The shine also wore off them fairly quick.
