No new I drive for model year 09 X5, or X6
 

Those waiting for the new I drive will have to wait. The dealer told me today, no new I drive for 09.

Thank you Craig. Got the same from my dealer. New I drives will not be here until MY2010. I guess I will buy one with the old one.

they sure like to make people wait and wait for new features on the X don't they?

I recall some discussion that the 2010 production will start sometime in March. That would coinside with the new I-drive?

Ie. 2009 is a short production run?!

My dealer tells me that most of the time I know more than he does by cruising these forums. Maybe the new iDrive won't be available until 2010, but the question is when will they introduce the LCI E70, MY2010? In Spring or Summer of 2009? As with the 2008 LCI E60, introduced summer of 2007. I'm waiting for the new iDrive, even if it means riding a leasebusters.com car for 6 months.
