Vermillion Red
 

Hello X5World members,

Hopefully I'll be pulling the trigger on a new X5 Diesel soon. I just got the new pricing sheet from the dealer the other day and I noticed that Vermillion Red is a color option. Anybody else notice this color option in the U.S.? BTW I live in Germany but this will be a U.S. spec vehicle. On the spec sheet it listed Vermillion Red as a priority 1 option. I will be purchasing through military car sales...Thanks!

Last question, has anybody purchased after market 20s for their X5 and if so, could you please share a pic? Thanks!

- red is not an option for the xdrive35d in the configurator here. Priority 1 mean special order like when we did our saddle brown interiors? It wasn't in the config then either but dealers could put it through.

- I have aftermarket 20s - they are absolutely fine/perfect - see pics in my sig.

My dealer told me that color was available, but for some reason, it's not in my 09 brochure...

There was a Vermillion Red E70 X5 for sale here in Sweden a while ago, with EU-spec though. I looked like crap on photographs but it looked much better in person.

Its a very, very rare colour on the E70 X5 and it was sold almost as soon as it reached the dealer, but I do have some photographs of it, could try and uplodad those.

I've seen a red E53 X5 4.8is around these parts once... that thing stood out nicely - just stared at it the whole time. Don't see too many reds in SUVs... I think I may have seen a red Grand Cherokee a few times... so rare I remembered the make. ;)
