Front Headlight Haze

Has anyone noticed that there is a smokey haze on the inside of their front headlight covers ? It's easy to spot when the front headlights are on... ? It would be impossible to clean effectively .. it seems to diffract the headlight beam slightly....

There is a bulletin from BMW that addresses this issue if it's due to condensation.

Not sure it's condensation more like a hazy film inside the light ...taking the car for service next week to fix the lining on the glovebox that is lifting so will mention it then... Thanks !

I have the same thing. I'd be interested to hear what your dealership say.

With HID lamps, this is a common problem. The haze is actually from the porjector surface rather than on the headlight plastic.
