Carrying heavy stuff in the trunk, will there be problem?

Hi guys,
I have a need to carry a heavy stuff from a factory to another. The object is of about 150 Kg (330 lb.). I plan to put it in the trunk. However, the base of trunk is made of plastic, I wonder if I will break it?

Does anyone know the maximum payload of the trunk?

Depends on the size also. Will the 330 lbs sit on 1 sq ft of space or 6.
Payload is more than 330

Put a hardboard in the trunk and put the item on that, that should distribute the weight evenly.

I believe that plastic-covered tailgate was designed to hold 2 adults for "tailgate partying".... Mine does hold 2 adults, tested :)

I'd still cover the area with a board to distribute the weight and prevent scratches. And I already carried over 330 pounds (bricks) more than once, so the car held.

It is a plastic injection mold. Roughly, it covers about 2 square feet.

It sounds a good idea by placing a hard board to distribute the weight.

Thank you very much, guys.
