Anyone looking for a deal on DVD headrest system

Here is a great deal if you are looking for a DVD entertainment system for your X5. I was at my local BMW dealer today and they are blowing out their remaining stock of Invision Revolution II dual headrest DVD systems. There are a number of us here who have the system. I have it in my '02 and it works very well. Do a search and you will find plenty of posts and pictures.

Basically, it is a dual 7" LCD headrest system with two independent DVD players built in that can play independently from one another. They come with a pair of wireless headphones and two remote controls. Sound can either be through the speakers or headphones. The system has external inputs for auxiliary sources like video game systems.

My dealer has the models designed specifically for the X5. They have E53 and E70 fitments and I am told that they have units that are compatible with power headrests. I was also told that the E70 versions will fit in E60. Here is their current stock as of today:

E53

1 Beige
1 Gray
1 Black

E70

1 Gray
2 Sand Beige
2 Black

The price is $695.00 for brand new in the box units. Shipping is extra but they don't think it would cost too much to ship. I asked about any additional discounts like BMWCCA discounts and this price is cut to the bone. It is well below their cost as it is.

Doug or Mike in Parts at BMW of Palm Springs. 760-324-7071. You can also e-mail Doug at [email protected]. Let them know Kevin from X5world sent you. I have no affiliation or financial interest in this. I just saw a good deal and think some of you can take advantage and maybe we can get some more good deals from them.

I am going to call him tomorrow and order a set. How hard is it to change the headrests?

This is great. I was actually thinking about adding this last week. Any idea if my local center would install it if I bought it here? Any guess on the cost of installation

E53 kits and E70 kits are supposed to come in 3 sizes

A 14mm Steel and 16mm Steel and a manual steel.

It is imperative that all customers seeking kits please not order the wrong systems because if you have a wider or smaller post size and you end up receiving the wrong kit BMWPS may not have the proper kit to swap you out and may not swap you out altogther because of the significant discount.

BUYER's Beware and please consult with me first before purchasing so I can make sure the proper kit is slated to be sent to the proper vehicle.

All E53 manual kits will not end in a P14 or P16.

All E70 kits are Power Headrests (up and Down movement) and part numbers will end in either P14 or P16 depending on your engine size and if you have comfort or non comfort seats.

Kevin this could end up being a clusterF*** for people paying shipping to have these kits sent. All buyers please consult with me first. For sizing.

Thanks!

THESE KITS WILL NOT FIT 2008 X3 / X5 / X6. These vehicles come equipped with Active headrests and are not compatible.

An automotive grade Blu-Ray DVD Loader has has not been developed by anyone to my knowledge. But Denalio is absolutley right on a 7" monitor it is not worth it for HD quality, however many people in the world are only buying Blu-Ray discs and this would most certainly give people access to watching those movies in the car.

For now, enjoy your PS3 connected via RCA plugs to my products. More to come.

Skywalker out!
