how many miles (kms) on the odo. of a "new" car is acceptable?

hi, i just ordered a pre-configured 2009 e70 30i. just wondering, when i go pick it up next week should the odo. read 0? i know often "new" cars will have some mileage on them. how many miles (kms) were on your new e70 when you picked it up? thanks.

Mine had 25 miles on the clock.

25-30km is acceptable because they have to PDI it

I had 6 miles on mine.

4mi... i would say acceptable for brand new is less than 10mi... and that's stretching it.

4 on mine at delivery.

It depends on the reason for the km on the odometer.

If the vehicle was moved from another dealership close by, or sent out for some work to be done, there could be 50 km or more showing very easily.

On the other hand, if it has been used as a dealer demo and has 50 km on it you may be more concerned.

Mine had 8.1 miles on it after they did the PDI. I don't know what it came in with. They also had to take it for diesel fuel the day I picked it up and it had 14 miles on it after they took it for fuel.

I can't tell you how much the x5 had but I know my Camry had 35km on it.
