4.8i & aero kit owners question
 

Does the condensation from the exhaust tips [temporarily] stain your rear aero kit? I know mine and another of the 3.0 tips do this regularly. If you have black or otherwise very dark it may be hard to notice but with white it's pretty unbearable. Do the 4.8 tips somehow keep this from happening? Surprised there aren't more complaints about this. It's actually worse than brake dust cleaning frequency - every other drive out it starts appearing.

You can start to see it in this pic but it literally gets black after a few more drives...

From the pic of the 4.8i tips it looks like the lip may keep this from happening... it also seems to extend slightly further out to prevent this.

No, the lip on the 4.8i does not extend out far enough to prevent condensation running down on to the rear aero kit.

It's something that I've noticed but I never thought it of a "problem" as such because there is very little "condensation" and it's not obvious. Mine is "Space Gray". I would expect it to be more obvious on white but I wonder if you get more "condensation" too...
