Hi Poinds,
I did finally make a decision and purchase an 09 X5 4.8 last Friday here in Dallas. -Black Sapphire -20's with 214's (as most on the forum have commented - these look great) -Almost Fully loaded - actually more than I really needed. (did not have Cold weather or Heads Up). Invoice was about 67K and 68K on the 09's I had looked at that were in inventory...and I paid less than 1000 over invoice. In the end I had talked to Autobahn, Moritz and Classic and had good conversations and great service from all 3. I really pushed to get something done at Classic since they are few blocks from my house and eventually worked out a great deal there and took delivery the next day. This thing is still costing me money however:p: Yesterday my wife hired a company to remodel the garage so it does justice to her car and the new X5:dunno: Thanks |

Like I've said before, I'm not really a speed guy, so a 3.0si or a 35d would serve me fine. Have fun with the 4.8i and keep us up to date on the driving experiences. |

And speed is about the same, the 4.8i is 0.5 sec faster from 0-60. In city driving the torque is more important to get going faster. |

The only bad thing I've read so far is an exploded urea line on someone's 35d. I've test driven the ML320 Bluetec and I love the torque feel on the low-end. I'm just wondering if and when buying an '09 35d will pay itself off over a CPO '08 3.0si that's similarly loaded? |
