Need help with the Exhaust values symbol.
Hi guys, i have a new 09 x5 3.0 with about 600 miles on it.. drove to work in the morning everything was fine, then drove to a supermarket everything was still fine, until when i started the car after shopping.. i got the symbol which i checked in the manual was Exhaust Values for Canadian Models? i checked the system it was ok, and no other warning messages on the iDrive. does anyone know what that is or what it means? thanks!

It may be the gas cap not sealed prperly. You need to twist it until it clicks. If that's what it is, it may take a good few miles of driving to get the light to go off even after you've solved the problem.

I got the same thing not long ago. It drove me nuts that I had a warning light without a message in idrive. Had to go to the manual to figure out what the icon was. The code it threw was faulty ambient temp sensor DME F/C 2BCO. They changed the sensor, the light came back on a day later and went out again a day or two after that.

I believe if it is a misfire the light will blink. |
