Problem. . S.O.S lamp on my screen
 

Hey guys i have a problem. . when i start my car this morning after 100 mtrs i listen to a beep and then on my screen it shows me an SOS warning and then a hammer warning. . does anyone know what is this thing cause i read the manual book and i couldnt find anything to help me.

Was there a line or strike across the SOS "hammer" which is suppose to represent a phone.

It just means for whatever reason the BMW Assist system did not start up correctly. You can try rebooting the entire system by holding the volume button and the CD eject button for over 10 seconds. It will reboot the system.

You might want to mention that to your dealer. It happened to me on my 2008 M3 several times and they updated the software in the vehicle. Not done it since.
