Glove box gap
 

I am loving my new E70. Headlight and seat control module were replaced and no warning lights since. I have a question about the glove box. The upper door has a wider gap on the right than on the left (between the top of the glove box and the dash). I haven't had time to go by the dealer to see if this is common.

Has anyone else noticed this? I don't see anyway to adjust it.

Noticed the same on mine. I was thinking of bringing it up on my next visit to the dealer.

Same on mine, but it does not bother me....

That is one of three things that bother me about the car:
1) gap in the glove box..most notable when the sun screen for the sunroof is open
2) back up camera does not go off right away when vehicle is put into drive (can't be changed according to dealer)
3) no oil dipstick...I am old fashion...like to check it myself

Saw one today in a parking lot, it too had a gap in the upper glove box door on the right. Guess it is the design. Seems like it could be flush like the lower door.

not sure if I have the same gap you guys are talking about... or maybe it's only visible at a certain angle? I see it somewhat on the left there... never noticed anything from the driver's seat.

My gap is uneven, almost none on the left and much more on the right

Is it not related to the function of teh passenger airbag? The bottom appears to be pretty well lined up with adjacent surfaces.
