I was told I would have to change the rims to run non Runflats...I believe that to be BS... I really don't see why I should run Runflats... the tyre pressure doesn't work on my car anyway at the moment..!! I could go Dunlop.. but I only need one now so would saty with the Contis... I have 255/50 R19 all round..

ok , i think i am going to go non runflat, the next question is the size of wheels/tyres on my x5 are
front 275/40/20 rear 315/35/20 i can pick up a good second hand spare alloy and tyre but what size would i need to go for to be compatible ? this will be cheaper than buying a space saver from BMW , it will only be used as a spare and for a short period of time in the event of a puncture, i am just unsure what size that i need to go for thanks gary |
Just Tyres
Just about Tyres: X5 2007, 19" wheels , I scrapped the Run Flat's and installed Pirelli 255/50R19 Scorpion zero, load index 107 , $560.- each. It's fantastic very very smooth no more bumping all the time and very little noise. Now it is the 125k vehicle. Thanks to Conquest Tyrepower Adelaide. The owner puts a lot of time in searching for the best tyre. phone 8340 1404
