Not so cool feature.
 

I noticed that when you open the door while driving, the 'box goes into park.
Not so handy when you try to stick your head out the door when reversing a trailer.

Is there a way to disable this?

Now seriously, no I believe that is a safety feature of the transmission/door sensor. You could call a dealer and ask if it can be disabled.

If you keep the seat belt buckled, it should not put itself in P !

required by law. they took out the steering lock and put this in there instead.

Alex is right. If you keep the seat belt buckled, it does not put itself in Park. Easy solution (although you either have to extend the seat belt way out or sit on it).

Another option is to buy a seat belt clip to fake out the car while doing this operation.

Also use your reversing camera!

one feature I don't get is why(even E53 has this) the automatic windows don't go auto when door is open, unless I missing something

maybe BMW considered that you might get your fingers hurt while opening/closing the door...:dunno:
