2005 vs 2006 3.0
 

Is there any difference between the 05 and 06 X5? I'm looking for a CPO'ed 06, but the price I'm looking at is hard to find (27k-28k). I've seen a few, but they tend to run off the lot quickly. Anyways, do you know if there is any difference between the 05 and 06 X5 3.0i?

From a cursory search, using the ol'HandyDandy Search Tab, it seems as if those 2 model years are nearly identical...
the '06 was the last year before the E70 in '07, fwiw.

Yeah, there is no difference between the '05 and '06 E53 X5, besides what Motordavid said that '06 was the last year of the E53. Had both a 4.4i and 4.8is E53...and they were flawless trucks, and safe!! My life was saved in my 4.4i, and in fact you can see my video/commerical on the bmwusa.com website. I am the official "safety man". The X5 has been called (my many independent groups) the safest car ever made or tested! Good Luck!
