Here's a strange one
I left my x5, locked it and when I came back an hour later all the windows and the sunroof were open. this happened to me at home one night also. What do guys think?
Happens when you hold the key down to unlock it.
You have set the ventulation timer, it opens the sunroof drops the windows to cool down the X5!
same thing happen to me,but mine was out all night and it was rain.imagine interior after this...
Man, your very lucky that your car was still there when you returned :yikes:
or that someone hadn't trashed it whilst you were away from it with all the windows open. That would scare the shisters out of me if that happened to my car and I wasn't expecting it. |
So, do I have the ventilation timer on if so how do I stop it or did I hold the button down too long. Could have happened in my pocket????
e90's had this problem when they first came out. a ground signal in the rear window glass signals the comfort opening to operate. another situation would be a software error in the CAS.
I was lucky, car was in my backyard,in another case bye, bye!here in croatia they don't give you another chance if you leave car unlock on the street...

even if you have ventilation timer and it activates it will not open the sunroof and drop down the windows!!! probably you hit the key fob
