Auxillary Input Setting Issue.
 

I listen almost exclusively to my Ipod through the AUX Input jack.
My issue is, I get out of the car, come back and it's defaulted to the radio.
All my other BMWs retained the last audio source selected.

The BMW Tech stated that's how it is on the X5.
Doesn't sound right to me at all.
Does anyone else have this issue?

I'm pretty sure it should retain last audio source selected.
I don't know anyone else locally with a E70 to test.
I told him to find one on their lot and get back to me.

If I turn off the car with mine on AUX, it defaults to Weather Band upon startup. There are a few threads on this issue I believe. Don't know why it does it but I'm used to it and it doesn't bother me now...I just press a button and I'm back where I need to be.

My 07 X5 used to always default to FM whenever I start the car (although I was listening to my IPod/Aux the last time I turned off the car). After I complained about it at my dealer, they said they update the software now it stay with the last source of input like it should. The only remaining problem is that is occasionally start the IPod from the first song on the listing instead of the last song played.
