Software Version ???? 2007 E70

Hi Guys....Bit of a newbie to all this,:dunno:

How can i find out the O/S and Software version that my E70 Navi Unit is running on ???

Also can it be upgraded to a newer version or will the dealers have to do this for me?

With my previous Audi you could upgrade it by using the latest Navi DVD or downloading the software from the internet onto cd ?????

Search through the forum, there is way to get into the service menu of your Idrive. (left right left, etc).

All the versions should be there.

If you mean navigation DVD, then look at the disc. You can purchase a new one from dealer or original vendor.

yeh i know i searched on here and found out that service menu, but how do you make out your versions what menu is it on any idea ??

I have been through all those screens myself (and taking pics of all). You have a good question. I don't know if there's a "main" version number or not. Some screens shows "OperatingSystemVersion=000 000 000"...

(Mine is 2008 X5)
