iDrive - Display brightness problem

Hi there,

Has anyone had the problem of the iDrive Display brightness randomly resetting itself back to the default position/value?

I have the iDrive display brightness setting set a little bit brighter than the default value, however normally when I get back into the car, i've noticed the setting isn't remembered and its defaulted back to the mid-default setting.

Anyone else noticed this.

Thanks.

I've had the same problem since I bought mine in March 2007. I went to the dealership more than five times regarding on this issue. They always say that they can't duplicate the problem.

I have had the same problem since getting my 4.8i in July 2007. The dealer has seen my problem, but cannot figure out the solution. First, they tried to blame it on the wrong cell phone pairing (8330 BB is not "official.") Then they tried a software update. Nothing still.

In fact, the SA even suggested to me that the "brain" for the bluetooth will DETERIATE over time if I continue to use the BB8330 and cause further problems.....
