As you could guess, the electronics don't like water. If it were fresh water I'd remove the carpets, repalce any modules that got wet, clean or replace the connections of the harness, etc. But being saltwater... might get written off/totaled.

The secret for sand driving an X is this: Take one post-facelift E53 (must have X-Drive), add 17-inch wheels if not already fitted, reduce pressure to 16 to 18 psi, turn off stability control.

But for the guy in the video with 20" runflats, he could remove the valve stems and not get the benefits of reduced pressure... He would actually need to know how to drive.
