Go to tirerack.com so you can see some choices. Feel free to ask the reps there for advice as they will know more than the folks here as far as low-profile tire noise is concerned. Noise has a lot to do with compounds in the tire and tread patterns. Size plays a role but not as much as the other factors. Hope that helped. |
thx....the size I will be getting is 295/35 21....I know some of you guys have the oem rims with 21 and I wanted to know if when swapped out for non rft which brand did they go with...I went to tirerack and they pointed me to the Conti's uhf...just wanted to see what members here were getting.

The 21"OEM wheels (214,215,128 & 239) are staggered set up, 21x10F/21x11.5R. Recommended tires are 285/35F and 325/30R. There's very few tires for this set-up, which is also my delema to go 20" or 21". What size are your replica wheels? Are they the same on all 4 corners?

I ended up going for the Hartge classics 2 but I didn't want to go 22 so I called Hartge in Germany and they tested and created a 10 1/2 inch set up all the way around and recomended 295/35......I just want to get some disent tires for the summer months

Michelins are always a great choice.

Here you go, Hartge Classic II with Conti UHP (although these are 22") they are very quiet so far (about 4,000 miles), much better than my Dunlop RFT Sport Maxx.
