Problem with radio and screen when inserting key
 

Was fiddling around today with my led lights and got a battery reset that occurred for some reason... wasn't anywhere near the battery...... all come back to life (got bulb errors with the restart because I had the rear light unplugged) but now when I put in the key the BMW screen comes up then swtiches off... if I press ON then all powers up ok but radio is on mute... any ideas what the problem is.... maybe I should disconnect the battery and force another reset...??

Maybe try to reset OBC screen : when power on, push 'Volume button' and 'Eject CD" for few seconds. OBC will restart.

Could be that battery is pretty low on charge.. I did have lights on etc for a while... will see what happens after I drive it for a while... the reset didn't change the behaviour (Thanks for the tip !!)... I think it's called radio readiness that is not occurring at the moment...

Yep .. the battery was low on charge so the OBC system shut down when the engine was not running.. all good now !!!
