I had a 2000 ML430 and that was probably the best Bose system I've heard. I hate Bose typically and have had vehicles with well over $20k in custom hifi installed, but as I've "matured" have been dealing with stock systems for years. I hated my E53's system, even tried to do an upgrade with a/d/s for the speakers and amps but to no avail without major modifications.

I will say the premium sound on the E70 is lightyears ahead. It's not the Audi A8 Bang & Olufsen system, but it sounds pretty good. You should be pretty happy with it. I haven't looked at upgrading any of it, but perhaps there are some upgrades that could improve it without havignto alter the whole I-drive system.

I think the premium audio system is the E70 is good. It takes a week of two for the speakers to bed in ... but once thats done, its very good. DVD 5.1 surround sound sounds good too.

I'am in deed counting not minutes, but seconds till my X arrives.

I'am selling my 4.8is, i drive it everyday, and if someone comes along i will definitly sell it, but i'am not on hurry.

My X has been great so far, everything about it, overall it is a well put together SUV.

I'am glad i did not go with touareg or ML.

Maaan not so sure about the Infiniti, i mean they are great but, they depreciate in value like no other, almost like Audi a4

They are hi-tech and well equiped but there is just something not right about them when you get in to one.

I would stick to German luxury SUV.

I would either go with new X or ML, maybe cayenne
