Advice on 19" to 20"/21" for e70 with M-Sport flares

I currently have the M sport 19' rims even though i ordered 20", dealer messed up and i needed the sav quick. Would i notice anything major if i swithed to a bigger wheel size? The x5 is a lease if i contact bmw usa do you think they could help in the situation?
Rightnow their 255 front 285 back

Thanks
P.S. Photos coming soon as i recently washed and waxed her!

Once you took delivery, all bets were off. At this point you might be able to do a dealer swap for a substantial fee.......Phil

i had complained to dealer that they messed up order and if they could just order 20''s to put on and they said no. They said they couldn't because it comes from factory with 19''. I could use that against them with bmw usa and they should have my previous complaint as i had called them directly to get wheels swapped during production but they said it was dealer, so its dealer that is very ....... missing the word....

If you ordered 20's but the dealer didn't put your order in correctly, than you could blame the dealership. But at the end of the day....you as the consumer have the responsibility to ensure that you are taking delivery of what you ordered. The fact that you needed the vehicle quickly, put you in a bad spot. You should've requested a dealer swap prior to signing your name. Most dealerships have wheels or will take them from a inventory vehicle if it means losing a deal. Bottom line, I doubt that BMW N/A will do anything for you at this point........Phil

IMO the ride with 20" its far far better... the car drives and maneuvers better and the feeling is superior..

If it's a lease, it just needs to be turned in with OEM wheels (even OEM replicas) and more than 3/32nds of tread at lease end.

My suggestion would be to get wheels you want (oem or otherwise) sooner than later and save your stock wheels and tires for lease turn in. I have driven mine down to just enough tread left for turn in (3/32nds) and am now hunting for a set to keep on the truck for the next 24months and will store my OEMs till turn in. My buddy did the same with his Hartge wheels (even with his exhaust, Hartge is on the truck with OEM in our warehouse) and plans on selling his Hartge stuff after lease ends on Ebay....
