Traction Control Engaging more oftern After tires replaced
The dealer replaced 2 front tires (the dealer had damaged the tires/rims (20 inch Michelin Lat Tour Pro's) and had to replace them) and performed an alignment. Now, when I go on turns at highway speeds (not crazy turns, just mild turns), the Traction Control (triangle) engages (light flashes) a lot more often than I recall previous to this repair. When driving straight, the light doesn't come on.
Is this normal? As the tires wear in/break in, does it go away on its own? Thanks, Yamil |
check your tyre pressures.

That's not normal. Your traction control should not engage unless there is snow, ice or extreme wetness. Sometimes the tires may need to scuff a bit before max traction.

There is a short break-in periods for your tires...there is some left over lubricant coating the tires...Tire Tech Information - Breaking In Your Tires

First of all, I hope you reinitialised the Flat Tire Monitor. And more importantly, there is a break-in period for tires. For the first 500mi (800km) I'd take it easy.
