tire repair advice

Hey Guys and Gals

Forgive my ignorance in regards to this basic question...

I have a small leak in one of my run flat tires on my 2009 X5 (19inch wheels).
Not sure where the leak is, but I'm hoping it can be repaired.

Question: In your experience-is it better to go to the BMW dealer for this task or an independent dealer (Bridgestone etc) that is certified to work on run flat tires?

Thanks in advance--you guys are great!

First you need to determine if the leak is a bad seal at the bead, if so have it re-mounted. If it needs a hole repaaired the BMW dealership probably will not do it. Try a reputable tire shop with a hunter machine to repair it. There is a lot of info on this site regarding run flat repairs. run a search. here's one there are several more:
