The other day while I was off work I decided to detail the X for the first real time. Let me know what you think.

And any suggestions to what my first mod should be? Do they make performance chips for e70 (not 3.0D)

Looks like you got the grill guard but not the under ride protection. I really think it's a package deal and looks better that way.

Looks like a detailed E70:D. Nice job. I think first mod is to get rid of the amber side marker reflectors;). Sorry but i'm not feelin' the bull bar. But what only matters is what you like.

What type of paint do you use to paint the amber marker? How did you remove them?

I vote for adding the aero kit. I love it on lighter colored cars.

Just buy them and install them yourself.

Well being from New York and commuting to the Queens and Manhattan, I think I would like to keep my frontend in one piece haha. Ill show you a rear pic of the X, it has some marks from peoples licenses plates being rubbed. Goes with the territory:dunno:

Hi,
Picked them up off an ebay site, they are not the originals, but knock offs. For something that I'm stepping on and can hardly see, I thought it made more sense. So far, no one has noticed any different.

whered you get the aerokit from?

nynd 07-16-2009 06:52 PM

Aerokit was from the dealer when I picked up my truck. Made them match the Morristown pricing (something like $900) for unpainted kit.

I mean its not too bad, just has a few scratches, I can live with it.

Im actually trying to get rid of it, but wondering how to do that with plastic? Any ideas? (dont want to sand it

Painting varies in cost. Typically people I think paid anythere from $250 - $400 depending on the shop. Best thing is to find a local shop for painting as if they mess it up, you can get them to fix it.
